Performer, creator, and teacher, Valérie Philippin has performed for over 20 years on the contemporary music stage in France and abroad. Trained in theater, dance, and lyric singing, she specialized in the 20th century repertory and creation in concerts, electronic music, musical theater, opera, sonorous poetry, and improvisation.
In 1995 she created Singulière Compagnie to develop her musical theater projects that combine research, education, and creation.
Valérie Philippin teaches contemporary singing, musical theater, and improvisation. Since 2007, she has been a professor at the CRR de Paris. She regularly teaches master classes and teaches the instructors for the Ariam Île-de-France, the CFMI d’Orsay, the CNFPT, and the Académie de Paris. She has taught at Sciences-Po Paris since 2011.
